Current Bankable Craze: Red, Red Wine
Well, maybe it's not fall just yet, but who's to say one can't get started looking into autumn colors early? In fact, many of the shoes I selected for this post have been out for some time so if you're into dark red, wine, burgundy, and so on, these colors should only be getting even more easily accessible with the turn of the season just ahead. I currently own ZERO shoes in this color.Unbelievable! It's time I got started.....
1. Steve Madden Russhh
2. Enzo Angiolini Mavek
3. Miu Miu Suede Platform Pump
4. Not Too Coy - Vixxen
5. Pour La Victoire - Hiro
6. Calvin Klein - Arianna
7. Type Z - Okalani
8. Christian Louboutin - Rolando
9. Charles David - Dimora
What are your favorite fall tones?

Out Of The Vault: Bamboo Driven-05
Now, this one's pretty old. I bought this wedge well over a year ago and it's definitely one of my best bargain buys. Umm, on another note, why the heck does the floor look lime green??? Please ignore, it must have been my lighting...
Defined As: Platform Lace Covered Wedge W/Ankle Strap
Nail Polish: China Glaze - Turned Up Turquoise (This color is hard to pinpoint, it looks way more green in the bottle. The first coats looked green but when I finished applying my topcoat, it looked blue as pictured)

| Heel Height: 5.5 Inches w/ 1.25 Inch Platform |
Ugh, sorry for the blurry pic, I took 3 and they all came out bad! Anyway, about 2-3 months ago I had seen a shoe on a Bebe model which was almost identical to this one by Bamboo. I believe the Bebe one was an espadrille with little plastic gems sewed on, well, by the time I saw it, the shoe was already gone from the website and I didn't even catch its name.
BUT the point is that the picture reminded me of just how much I like this shoe and how neglectful I was being! I am pretty good about rotating footwear but this one happened to be at the very top of a shelf and stuck in a corner.
These are definitely high and can feel teeter-tottery at some points.
If you gals are expert high heel wearers then these are a must. I would not recommend this style of shoes to novices as they have a sharper incline that your run-of-the-mill wedges.
Close-Up of lace detail:
So I checked Urban Original and as I suspected, they're totally gone. The only place I managed to find them at was at Shiekh Shoes, however, they have given the wedge a massive price hike.
Do you guys shop at this store? I have seen it at a couple of malls and it's online too, but to be honest I have never bought any shoes from them because they seem to be the same exact shoes you can buy from urbanog, amiclubwear, gojane and so on but way more expensive. I'm going to post the link for those of you who are still interested:
They are "on sale" for $32.00.
I can't remember exactly how much I paid for this shoe but it was FOR SURE less that $25. Food for thought.
Have a great day everyone!

I'm Really Liking....
I love them! They're super high and have that skinny heel that always gets me!
I've been looking at these for awhile and I'm really in love with the black version, the contrast is much more attention-grabbing than the bone version.
Again, another shoe VERY similar to a designer style, in this case the Louboutin Lady Daf. I really love this version by Halston; the lace overlay over the glitter really gives it a striking appearance. When I first saw these, I actually thought it was a feather pattern.
Vivienne is very similar to the Halley, also by Jimmy Choo, however it has much more detail and features a variety of studding/patterns. Made of leather and snakeskin, it's tribal and modern all at once.
The baddest rain boots in the whole world!
PERIOD.
These are by Louis Vuitton and I believe they were to be made available in June of this year; I have not seen them sold online so I'm guessing they are in-store only but I'm not really sure. You have to be pretty confident to wear these in a storm or else you'll be tripping and falling, sopping wet, but hey, your shoes will look fab, right?? LOL

A ton of companies are making basically "inspired" versions of Giuseppe Zanotti's famous sky high wedges, these are just another example of that. I really like the full-on black version.

I've really been liking a lot of shoes from this brand but for the sake of brevity I've only picked one to show. The craftsmanship on this sandal looks so clean and precise; the lines on this shoe are amazing and that ankle strap makes it so dainty despite the heavy platform. Cutouts give the shoe a bit of texture detail as well.
I have tons more shoes that I'm liking but I'll leave it at that. I will have to do another one of these for fall footwear which is ALREADY being released! It's still July right???
So what shoes are you're liking?? Affordable or designer, it's all good! :)

Do Any Stores Still Sell These?
I have been looking at these booties for a long time, however, a few months ago, when I first saw them, I was not really able to purchase them. I'm not really sure of the exact month in which they were released but I'm guessing it was a considerable amount of time ago since I can't seem to find them well stocked anywhere! Most places are extremely limited and the black is practically non-existant.
I really love this look, it's so different and edgy, and look at that massive platform and stacked heel!
Now, let's take a moment to see them in motion:
I wonder if they'll restock these with fall/winter collections coming soon.
Moving on, Michael Antonio does have a very similar version of this heel/wedge for the summer called Gallagher available in leopard and zebra print:
These are priced at $159.99 and are part of his Studio line.
Anyway enjoy, you can find these shoes below:

The Vancouver Cannucks :(
I know that I live in the U.S but I was still rooting for Canada and wanted them to win, oh well.

Current Bankable Craze: Pumps in Vibrant Colors
So here is my little compilation of a huge trend this season, pumps in a huge variety of beautiful and vibrant colors! I know a lot of people who are typically limited to wearing muted colors like black or nude to work so its great to add a pump in your favorite color to your collection for going out. It's a really fun way to add a spark to your everyday outfit; you'd be surprised how stylish and put together you can look with dark wash denim, a basic white tank, and a bright color pump. It's chic and effortless, especially on those lazy days :)

Have fun experimenting with color!

Bakers and Luichiny: Fanta
If you missed out on the Bakers Fanta which was available earlier this year and late last year, I have found an identical dupe. In fact, it's so identical that the shoe brand Luichiny, also names their version "Fanta."
They are only available in black and red, whereas Bakers had black, red, blue, and brown. They are currently well stocked in nearly all sizes for those who were interested in finding this shoe when I first posted it. Find it below:

What I Wore To The Amusement Park
JUST KIDDING!! LOL!!
....although I did see a couple of girls wearing heels while I was there......can you say OUCH??
To each his own I guess, but as much as I love high heels, I always wear flats/flip flops to amusement parks, just seems more practical. I can only imagine the pain of standing in heels all day to get on rides and all that walking, that's like 10+ hours if you plan on staying all day!
Anyway, here's what I really wore:
I purchased these little studded flats a LONG time ago from gojane.com and I can't believe how comfortable these are! They are by the brand Sunny Feet but, unfortunately, I don't know the name of these because I didn't take note of the box when I threw them out. Since they're flats, I didn't enter them into my Excel sheet of shoes, oops.
Well, when I left the house, I contemplated taking a pair of ballerina flats in case the thong portion of the sandal would start messing with my feet. I was so pleasantly surprised when I realized that hours had gone by and I didn't have a single blister, I totally forgot that I was even wearing them! They're very true to size and none of the plastic spikes have come off so far.
It was a very pleasant surprise since I had gone to another amusement park a little bit ago with flip flops on, and oh lord! It was a hot mess, I wanted to go home after 5 hours because I could not stand the pain. I think the rubber thong thingy was defective cause it was digging into my skin.
And if your wondering, this nail polish is by Pure Ice in the color Free Spirit. 3 Coats.
So that's it guys, I can't believe I'm still up this late!
Good Night!

Outfit Of The Day: Featuring Bakers Peyton in Red
**This was actually my outfit for like 2 days ago I believe, but blogger was down and I couldn't post it then so I am posting it now.**
Also, I am aware that my blog is majorily related to shoes, however, I'd like to expand that to include other fun things like clothing and accessories and all that good stuff. My outfit of the day will feature shoes so that you can get an example of how I style shoes with certain outfits. I know that not everyone has the same taste in style/fashion, this is just an example of how I do it.
So with that said, here we go:
White Blouse - H & M
Skirt - Forever 21
Necklace - New York & Company
Belt - H & M
Pumps - Bakers "Peyton"
I got this really nice braided belt about 4 weeks ago?? It was super cheap, about $5, and I also got it in orange. I believe they are still available but don't quote me on that.
I picked these up from Bakers late last year. Originally, I was going for the nude ones but they were sold out in my size, so I bought the red ones. I ended up picking up the nude ones sometime in 2011 when Bakers randomly restocked the Peyton in all colors (Nude, Red, Black). Unfortunately, since I bought them so long ago, they are not available anymore in the red or nude; they only have them in black. Find them below:
Steve Madden also carried a very similar version called Kattrina, which again, is nearly sold out now. The sizes are very limited and the only colors left are black leather and taupe patent. Find them below:
So that's it everyone, have a great 4th of July weekend!
