Jessica Simpson Genm in Brown

Hey everyone, hope your having a fantastic weekend!  I'm back with my first ever Jessica Simpson shoe purchase.  I bought these a little while ago online and since then, I have been looking at Jessica Simpson styles much closer than before.

Defined as:  Platform Slingback Sandal with Faux Snakeprint and Wooden Heel.
Nail Polish: Zoya - Paz

Doesn't this nail polish look so fake in some pictures?  LOL, it looks like I used the "spray" tool in an editing program on my toenails to cheat my way into a faux pedicure.  But no, the polish is most definitely real, it's just so incredibly neon and bright in real life that pictures can sometimes look a little funny.

These sandals are probably some of the most comfortable ones I own.  The platform is big and the toe bed is nice and wide, so all of my toes fit comfortably without any pinching and none of them are sticking out the edges which is great if you have longer toes like me.  Also, the sole is made of rubber so no need for non-slips!

The heel itself is nice and chunky (by my standards, this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ is chunky)

: |

I know, I know, but I'm so into skinny widths that this heel is chunky compared to that.  But yes, I am fully aware that by average standards, this is not chunky.     :)

Here is a close-up of the really cool faux snakeprint.

I am really impressed with it because its not just a print, it's actually got a nice texture to it.

You can find the Genm at the following websites in varying colors (Brown/Black/Grey) and sizes:

It's Back: Forever 21 Leatherette Oxford Bootie

And it's in a new color as well.

You can find my full post HERE.

They are now also available in dark brown:

I realize that these are more appropriate for fall, however, it's never too early to start building your fall wardrobe.... right???  Anyway, these are really affordable and are, as of right now, fully stocked in sizes 6-10 in both colors.  So if you missed out on this one last time, here's your chance to pick it up!  Find it below:

Bye!

You Have To Get These: H by Halston - Sonia

Unfortunately, I don't have a full post! I ended up taking these pics and they came out really dark and blurry so I will have to give it another try soon.  I also didn't think that this was a very appropriate nail polish choice; the orange cone neon color screamed Halloween next to the black of the shoe.  The polish is Zoya's Paz for those of you who would like to know.

Anyway, these shoes are IT. I mean, seriously, I had seen them online before and even saw them in store and kept passing them by.  But I just thought, hmmm, why not try them on? And I'm so glad I did! They have such an elegant look to them and the heel/platform looks so striking, although it's pretty obvious that H by Halston is pretty much copying the designs of Cesare Paciotti seen below:

Beautiful, there's no denying it, but more than a bit expensive for the masses.  If you love the original style, then Cesare Paciotti is most definitely the way to go as there are much larger varieties of styles.  However, if your not willing to commit long-term, then the H by Halston is your best bet to get this look into your shoe collection without regretting it later (in case your taste changes).  Also, I believe that the Paciotti styles are a couple of years old so they will be harder to come by, so if you missed that boat, head to Bakers!

The H by Halston ones are also in what they are calling Ice, which looks like tan/blush/beige. A color which I am debating over getting, however, I am happily losing this debate so I might pick them up soon :)

And here a couple of the clearer pics:

You can find them below:

I could not find any of the Paciotti ones available.

So that's it for now, I will retry taking these pics once more to really show the detail.  Thanks for stopping by!

What A Mess! Sort Of....

This is part of what I have been working on organizing in the last couple of days.  It's an assortment of items that I usually store in armoire's such as cheapy but cute jewelry from forever 21, random sunglasses (aviators are the only style I wear, I look funny in those big, huge bug-eye styles), pins/brooches, cocktail rings, massive bebe earrings, everyday watches, and all that fun stuff.  I LOVE F21 when it comes to jewelry, their assortment is so huge and cheap that even if a piece breaks/comes undone, I don't mind since I am always happy to look for new finds.

Although my accessories organization gets a massive fail, I think I have finally cleaned up my shoes nicely.

Oh, and no, I didn't buy all of these heels overnight, it has been years of collecting and growing my love for shoes, it's my hobby!  The setup is not ideal, since there's a huge waste of space between the shelves, but, oh well, it works!  Ideally, I would love to have a closet specialist to come in and design my dream closet, but I am very happy and satisfied with this setup.  I organized everything by shoe type and then within each category by color.

At first, I tried to set up each pair right next to one another but they were taking up way too much space. So, as you can see in the picture below, and because I have small feet, I was able to fit the right shoe in the front and place the left shoe in the back at a slight angle.  I can fit more shoes on a single shelve and it looks really nice when they're all lined up.  I got these bookshelves at walmart, they were super cheap, about $25, they are 5 shelves, but I cheat and use the very top so essentially, I get 6 shelves out of it.

I am so glad I threw out my boxes, this is definitely the ideal setup for someone like me who's always running late.  I like having all sorts of brands mixed up since I can see the little gems that I've been able to score for 20 bucks that often went forgotten in their boxes.  The only thing is that I have to continually dust, but hey, it's worth it!

So what's your current setup? I'm all ears!

Steve Madden Wheatley in Patent Nude & Cognac

For some odd reason, I thought that I had already made my post on these before.  Well since I am obviously super late with them, I'm going to include the pictures for both colors in one single post.

Defined As:  Platform Cork Wedge
Nail Polish:  Zoya- Jewell

These are really comfortable and easy to walk in for long periods of time.  Entry is a little difficult when you first purchase them but that will get easier with wear since walking stretches the elastic strap just slightly.  The cork looks really nice one these two colors, however, I ended up getting the white ones just recently (not pictured) but the faux cork seemed to be glued on a little sloppily.  There were bubbles in the platform area so make sure to check yours when you are purchasing them.

I've been wearing these nonstop lately, they're perfect for this season and I love that they are no-fuss shoes.  Just slip them on and go, oh and they are super easy to climb and descend stairs because of the straps, they feel very secure.

And here's the cognac:

So far, I have not been able to find the cognac color online, I bought mine at the Steve Madden store.  However,  they have dropped considerably in price from their old $110.  The cheapest place I found online that sells the patent nude, patent black, and the patent red/pink/whatever that color is, was Lord & Taylor, which is the one I linked below.

Have fun everyone!

Who Will It Be???

Totally unrelated, I know, but I just had to!  Will it be the Vancouver Canucks or the Boston Bruins?  Hmmm, should I tell who I'm rooting for..... I will keep it to myself for now, I don't want to jinx anything, I am a bit superstitious :)

Well, to get into the hockey spirit, I have the ideal shoes in mind to wear when watching the game:

All of these are by DSQUARED2 and they are gorgeous!  I mean, they're not very practical for everyday but if you can pull them off they will look amazing and fierce.

Incredible, there are no words!  I wonder if its possible to actually skate in these....hmmmmmmmm
