Forever 21 Leatherette Oxford Bootie in Camel

Ok, so as promised here is the other pair of shoes that I found at Forever 21.  They're a little shorter than what I usually wear but they were so nice that I didn't really mind.  Again, I don't think they have a name but on the website they are listed as "Leatherette Oxford Bootie."

Clothing: Tights - Forever 21
Priority: Medium
Heel Height: 5 inches

These booties aren't one solid color throughout, some parts, as seen above by the toe, can be a little bit darker which I assume is them mimicking the look of real leather when it's worn.  When I bought them there was a little tag on the shoes that said something about the shoe getting a rugged look when its worn, so I'm assuming that's what the coloring is supposed to help with.

In terms of comfort, they could probably use a bigger platform.  They are 5 inches high with what I estimate to be a 1/2 -3/4 inch platform, which is pretty small for a heel of this height.  It's not too bad but it's something to know, plus since its a bootie it's easier to walk in than a strappy sandal where your foot can slip around.

This one is still on the website as of September 27 so if you like it check it out!

Forever 21 Black Booties

So I was trying to find the link to these booties on Forever 21's website but I can't find them anywhere!  Maybe they pulled the listing down, it wouldn't surprise me since these were practically sold out in most stores.

Clothing: Tights - Forever 21
Priority: HIGH
Heel Height: 5.5 inches

I don't think that these booties have a real name, but I will update it if I can find the label that Forever 21 uses on the website.  These are super high and so cool looking, and the best part, the bargain!  The laces are somewhat functional since you can tighten the fit only slightly because the main entry/exit of the shoe comes from the zipper on the inside.

And yes, I noticed that I forgot to take the stickers off the sole, I didn't even notice them when I was taking the pics, lol.  These are pretty comfortable to walk in, although they could probably use a little more cushioning, but its nothing that can't be fixed with foot petals.

A great Forever 21 find, jump on this shoe ASAP before its gone in stores.

At Long Last: Steve Madden Calgarry in Black

I'm going to start with the black pair just because most people end up buying black over other colors when they are only picking up one pair.  I'm also going to show my typical sequence of shots but this time I took two sets, one worn thigh high and the other at the knee.

*Some of the pics are blurry, Sorry!*

Clothing: Jeggings - Forever 21
Priority: VERY HIGH
Heel Height: 5.5 inches

With all the coupons and savings, I pretty much ended up getting two boots for the price of one.  As I mentioned in my preview post, the suede feels really nice, its super soft and flexible.  The insulation is amazing and great for winter since it traps the heat from your body really well.  Zippers are in perfect working order and the seaming along the front is sturdy and doesn't look like it's going to come undone anytime soon.

I love the fact these boots are convertible since you can achieve two looks for the price of one, its great for people who might be a little strapped for cash for their fall wardrobe.  If you are a follower of Steve Madden, you'll see that Calgarry is essentially the Bakers Victoria/Steve Madden Caryssa in boot form, meaning that they are just as comfortable to walk in.  However, unlike Victoria/Caryssa, the suede does not extend to the platform.

Alright, so now onto the knee-high look:

So there you go! Post on Calgarry grey coming soon, and this time I mean it.

BEEN SO MIA!!

I know, I know, I've haven't posted in a while! But the good news is that I've got a new batch of shoes to show you guys, and some great surprises from Forever 21!  I usually have a really hard time finding shoes there because they look so cheap, I'm not incredibly picky and snobby when it comes to materials, but some of them are really tacky looking, LOL!  Well, I found some cute styles and will be posting those soon as well as my very procrastinated post on Steve Madden's Calgarry.

Until then!

Qupid Ceduce-66 in White

It's been a little while since I posted but I've been so busy!  I purchased this pair of wedges from Urban Original, and yes, I know that it's almost fall and I should be posting fall styles, but hey, its still pretty hot and summer is winding down so I might as well get to it.

Nail Polish: O.P.I - Mod About You
Priority: Medium
Qualifies as Exemption For Me: It's no good for work

This wedge would be so comfortable if it wasn't for one tiny detail.... the tiny cutouts on the side of the toes.  When I bought this I noticed the cutouts but I thought they were cute and added more to the wedge, almost like a side peep toe.  However, for me, it hurts like crazy because my little toe keeps sliding into the hole!  I can't say that this is the case for everyone because the width of your toes will probably affect how easily it slips out, but just thought I'd let you know!

Ceduce-66 is such a perfect summer wedge, it's such a crisp white and contrasts well with the basket weave pattern along the sides.  The o-ring keeps the front from being too plain and the flower-like shape of the toe area gives it a feminine touch.

Now would be a great time to get over to urbanog.com to purchase this wedge since it has gone down in price to an unbelievable $13.80!! Unfortunately they are out of white, but they still have other colors if you are interested.

***UPDATE*** As of September 2, they are now $8.10! Available in black, pink, and denim blue.

Have a good one!
